Our story

It all began when T.K. received her first leathercraft tool kit for Christmas when she was sixteen years old. She had always been a crafty and creative person, but her passion for art and desire to turn it into a business really began the moment she sold her first handcrafted leather item.

In the years that followed, T.K. continued to explore and express her creative side through a variety of different mediums and disciplines including leathercrafting, cross-stitch, painting, woodworking, writing, and construction. Then, in 2020, she discovered fluid art and Wild Workings was born.

Although the process of creating fluid art was both fun and challenging and T.K. learned a great deal about the discipline over the next couple of years, she soon found herself in the same position as many other “starving artists” and struggled to stay motivated and inspired.

In 2022, she married her best friend Michael who worked as a metal machinist, and was introduced to the world of laser cutting, engraving, and CNC milling. Inspired by the versatility of the discipline, T.K. began to look for ways to incorporate it into Wild Workings. This eventually led her to return to her roots of woodworking and leathercraft, and she hasn’t looked back since!

T.K. and Michael now work together designing and creating many of Wild Working’s products and custom orders. They are excited and inspired by the work they do, and are incredibly grateful for the love and support they have received along the way.
